This presentation package, created by Family Care International and Ipas, aims to foster understanding of this issue, enhance public discussion, promote partnerships, and encourage the provision of safe abortion services to the extent allowed by law. It is based primarily on the World Health Organization’s 2003 publication: Safe Abortion: Technical and Policy Guidance for Health Systems. The CD-ROM includes everything you need to learn about unsafe abortion and make presentations on this topic. The package includes advocacy tools in English, Spanish, and Portuguese that can be used with a range of audiences, from policy-makers to health care providers, from members of the media to members of the community.
