FCI Protects Our Donor's Privacy
How the secure online donation works:
Once you select the secure online donation form, you will be connected directly to our secure server. A padlock or key icon should appear in the bottom left or right-hand corner of your browser's interface. Your browser may also provide a "pop-up" message informing you that you are connecting to a secure server; a similar message may appear once you exit the secure server. Our secure server communicates with your browser using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocols, so that all your personal information, including your credit card number, name, and address, is encrypted. This process takes the words and figures you enter, and converts them into code that is then securely transmitted over the Internet. |
